Simpler than you think

All throughout or lives we have had more than one moment of anxiousness, being It either fearing that we'll miss a spot on a restaurant, to get late to our new job or just wondering If our partner is cheating on us or planning to break the relationship. Well, this feeling of anxiety might be not entirely due to these direct reasons at all though just a symptom of something bigger. Probably It will be the case that there's a deeper reason for all the nervousness you have been feeling about life in general, like doubts about your self-worth instilled since your childhood, a feeling of rage towards your significant ones or even insecurities about your sexuality. These are all things that might lead to all kinds of ramifications and fears on the long run. That's why a simple question can help you combat these anxious thoughts to guide your mind towards the right solutions, one so simple, though so hard to answer, which will bring us more tranquility the next time anxiety shows Itself. Let's begin:

If I weren't having anxious thoughts, what I would have to think about right now?

This is not telling you that you should avoid the fact that you're having all these negative perceptions about yourself and instead think about flowers, though to get to the underlying reason as to why you're feeling anxious in the first place, usually having to do less with the actual moment and more with all kinds of traumas and deep fears rooted within yourself. One example of this might be that If you feel anxious that your grades won't be as you expected. If you weren't so worried about how they might turn out, you would be able to figure out that It has to do more with the fear of refusal by either your peers or the people that care for you for failing instead of a simple test.

Well, If this question is enough to take out anxiety for all, then why not everyone has gotten rid of anxiety? Well, In first place, not all things that cause us anxiety are so metaphorical, as there are a lot of real dangers in the world that can ihave catastrophic effects on us and situations where we might need a little bit of anxious energy to get moving, focusing on the fear of losing as a positive stimuli to incentivate action. That's why another question that you should ask yourself before thinking about what might be hiding before your anxiety is that If whatever you're facing is a real reason to be worried about.

I hope that this little article could have been of help to you. Giving you a couple things to ask yourself whenever you're feeling that anxious thoughts or panic is knocking at your door, to remind you that whatever you're feeling has a core reason for It and that things that you might have thought so important before are but mere tricks of your brain to make you worry. I encourage to act in spite of fear to make your world a better place and to keep moving. Thank you for your support and good luck!
