Taking them as they come

When we choose a particular topic to study, a book to read or even an educational video to watch, we usually choose one of two approaches: The first one, that selects information for future events that might occur or situations that might require that type of knowledge, choosing to delve deeper into the subject and sharpening the data acquired for this possible situation. However, there's a downside to this, as we don't know If that particular niche is going to be of value to us, even In our own field of interest, as things can go different from person to person and what happens to us from day to day can be a particular case in Itself that requires for us to get new information to solve our problems. This is where the second approach comes as handy, as we seek for the so precious wisdom of other people that had faced the same types of inconveniences as us and had solved It, looking at many different sources in that particular topic to be able to react in a more proper way. It is because of this that I write in this article, stating my position regarding why sources of data that are related to something that you are facing in the present are way more useful than the ones for an hypothetic future by putting up some advantages of the second regarding the first. Let's begin:

Just in Case vs Just In Time

Giving more pathways to action

By actually getting knowledge about an event you are reacting to in the present time, you'll be much more prone to act than If you just choose to inform yourself about things non related to that. Also, this will help you in drawing a map in your head in order to give the right steps towards a solution.

Higher chance of memorizing It

By learning about something that you actually will employ, you'll be much more able to remember It, as you will add the practice component to It, not only memorizing boring concepts though getting in contact with the real variables that make up what you are facing, associating those concepts provided with tangible elements that make up for better ways of gathering information.

Reducing the time and amount of mistakes doing It

By looking at concise sources of data, where you look at the mistakes of other people that so diligently gave you their knowledge through their content, you will pick up much faster what you have to avoid doing in order to not get any negative outcomes, also giving you the right instructions in order to get what you really want and to solve that complicated situation you want to get right.

I hope that with this information I could have made clear why gathering information in order to meet your particular needs is a much more efficient method in getting further through your career than If you constantly searched things that might not be related enough to significant advances on It, not discouraging you from widening your knowledge in any possible manner and number of disciplines in your spare, though making you much more aware of your priorities when making your work more productive. Thank you for your support and good luck!
