Do I trust the source of this criticism?
Is this person an expert in the area I am/want to be an expert In?
Has this person reached what I want to reach?
In this way you can assure that what is being told to you comes from an experienced person that can bring you valuable information with regards to where you want to get to.
2.- Focus on what you can control
You don't know If a particular video, article or piece of content will get the result of expect. It can get little to no views at all or It can go viral in a matter of days. As many factors are involved in the success of a particular product, and many of them aren't even in your control you should be more conscious about those things that you can really control and can bring a positive effect to your work, things like enjoying the process, practicing your craft, investing into knowledge about the field and many other activities that make It more engaging, all without worrying how It might turn out.
3.- Set Finishing Times
There might be periods of time in your project when you might feel burn out and others where you think you haven't done any work at all. All this inconsistency might have to do with the fact that you are overworking yourself without any goal in mind, and certainly not setting any goals for the future. That's why you should always put some thought into your recuperation from you laboral routine, choosing a particular hour in which you can said you have finished your work for the day and even If you haven't completed It, leave It for the next one, all so you can give your mind time to rest and feel replenished when you get at It again.
