Why my Audio sounds like a COD MW2 lobby?

Ever wondered why in some places electricity might fail? Well, you might blame It on a lot of factors, like shortcomings in the electrical wiring of your house, your electrical provider, though sometimes the real cause of all might just have to do with something apparently simple, noise. In this case we refer to electrical noise, that which can cause for our electrical signals to be distorted and just make our equipment work in funny ways. In this article I'll talk about this kind of noise, What It is, Its types and how they can occur. Let's begin with the definition of electrical noise.

What is Electrical Noise?

Talking in terms of signals, electrical noise is the addition of unwanted electrical signals that cause an interference in the original signal and distort It. However, other way that you can take It is the different factors that affect electrical devices and installations, causing unproper functioning of these. All electronical devices process the electricity in many different ways, though a little part of this energy leaks, whether being radiated in the air or just conducted through Its wires. All this energy, as It travels further with the presence of additional appliance, gets in the way of a really optimal functioning of our devices and creates a little corruption of the signals that are transported in many ways to the different elements in the room. This is usually seem in spaces with many electronical equipment near each other, such as kitchens.

Now that we know what exactly It is, let's identify the different types of Electrical Noise.

Types of Electrical Noise

Thermal noise: This kind of noise is generated by the heat produced by many different components of a specified circuit during their functioning, which can cause malfunctioning from the part of the device.

Trigger Noise: Simmilar to thermal noise, though now we refer more to electrical phenomenons. Here the distorsions are caused by the random fluctuations in the electrical current of different devices, such as diodes or transistors.

Noise Generated by Human created Devices: Pretty self explanatory, this encompasses the interferences generated by equipment that men have designed, affecting the overall signal.

Noise created by Natural Systems: Probably the most unpredictable and hard to get rid of off all. This kind of noise presents Itself at irregular intervals and Its way more to detect when It will appear than others, though when It appears, It causes a lot of distortion. Examples of this are the electric discharges caused by lightning.

I hope that with this little article you can understand more one of the main factors that causes interruptions and modifications in the content that was received by your devices in comparison to what was sent, Noise, how It can be generated and the different types of It that are present in any communication channel when any signal is communicated.

Oh rusty have visited you generously. I wonder why you don't have the sponsorship page on your articles? I like this topic of electricity.

Btw you can turn on the page to attract sponsors by clicking the $ when you're going to post images or the like...

Thank you very much. I didn't know about the sponsor blocks feature, I will surely give It a try in my future articles.

No problem. There's still a lot about electricity for us to learn, though knowledge about noise is a great thing to possess.
