Every country of the world had a hero in their history. Bangladesh is not opposite of them. Bangladesh had also a hero of our own. The name of the hero of our country was “Sheikh Mujibur Rahman”. He is the greatest bangali of all time. He is one of the main director of the movement of independent Bangladesh. He is the founder of independent Bangladesh.
In 17 March 1920, that day was Tuesday at the evening a boy child was born. His father took his name Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. His nick name was “khoka”. Everyone called him khoka. From his childhood he tried to help the poor people. He was a very kind hearted person. But besides of this he was very hard to the bad people. He didn’t tolerate any types of injustice.
When he studied at school, one day Shera Bangla A.K. Fajlul houck came to visit that school. The iron sheet of the school had broken. The little boy Sheikh Mujibur Rahman blocked the road of Shera Bangla and he asked him to repair their school. Shera Bangla repaired their school. After his school life, he admitted himself to college. He political life was started from his college time. He joined political party. He played very important role in all movement for our country.
He played very important role from the beginning of the Pakistan period. He always tried to save the basic needs of the East Pakistan people. He past half of his life in jail because he told against West Pakistan government. He leaded the movement of the mother language with his mates. After this movement he took part in many other movement. He was the founder of “Awami League”.
He took part in the West Pakistan election and he won in the election by huge numbers of votes. But the West Pakistan government didn’t want to handover the East Pakistan political power. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman understood the matter and he called a conversation in 7 th March 1971 at Racecourse field. About 1 million people was present there. He told the nation to take preparation for war.
In 25 March 1971 at mid night the West Pakistan military attacked in many part of East Pakistan and killed about 25 thousand innocent bangali.
Also they they arrested Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. But before he arrested by Pakistan military he declared East Pakistan as a independent country and he renamed East Pakistan to Bangladesh.
He also prevent told to prevent the West Pakistan military. The West Pakistan military took him to Karachi jail.
After 9 months bloody war Bangladesh gained victory in 16th December 1971.
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman back to the independent Bangladesh in 10th January 1972. And he took promise as a president and he started to rebuild the Bangladesh.
But in 25 August 1975 Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family without Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Rehana killed by some of cheaters in our country.
He is the greatest leader not only Bangladesh but also all around the world.
