It's such a mood watching Girl From Nowhere Season 2 at this hour. Episode 1: Pregnancy, DONE!
MY REVIEW: Women should not only be the one that will bear the responsibility of being a mother, but men are also accountable for his acts.
This episode showcase one of the most sensitive issues arising in our society decades before and still evident to this date, teenage pregnancy and abortion. Teenage pregnancy is one of the toughest problems that our government is facing now, especially as the pandemic took place the number of cases was doubled.
Pregnancy termination is legal under various health considerations, especially when the unborn child becomes a threat to the mother's life, but some advocates of legalizing abortion as birth control and one of their stand are, "my body my rule" but if we take a deep understanding about pregnancy, there are 2 bodies in one, the mother's body with her rights, and the living fetus with his/her rights. This rise criticism to the advocates. Abortion as what advocates are trying to push, that it is a way for a child to be free from these ruthless words. In other words, terminating the life of an unborn is saving them, according to pro-abortion advocates. But, was it the child they want to save? Or themselves from the responsibility they needed to face?
Both parents hold accountable for their children's lives, being a parent is being a team. No one should stand alone. Why blame the woman for bearing a child? Why blame a man for committing such acts? Both genders should understand this.
