Tiny little snacks that always leave you breathless, everything you bring them in front of is definitely canapes. Some variants of this appetizer take time, a lot of time to prepare, but for some not so much. Here we have several types of simpler ones in which everything is mostly smeared, folded, twisted and pierced. There is no baking, except in my case where I used homemade tortillas, instead of purchased ones, but purchased ones are perfectly fine, especially if it is a celebration, so you need a lot and not to waste time. This amount, which was obtained in the end with some imperial feast, Spanish or a day before the made salty roll is quite enough for a slightly larger gathering

In the photo below, you can see what I used from the ingredients, which can again be of your choice, and in addition to these, I added some more that were in the fridge, and I will write them down. The most important thing here is imagination and a little patience, the result is more than fantastic. Toast bread was used as a base, along with tortillas. Instead of toast, a baguette can be used, as well as a muffin. Tortillas can be bought and one pack of 8 pieces is enough for you. From the spread, we have sour cream, cheese spread with paprika, and plain cream cheese. Cream cheese with chives or spice tastes great, for those who like it. The meat part is occupied by ham, which is not round in shape, although it can be, powder, sandwich salami works best here, it is something between tea sausage and salami, and the roll is large, so it can be cut. on some canapes I used mini peppers, it's a sausage that is spicy and dry. Lettuce as an indispensable part, I added a little tomato (it would have been better if it was cherry, but I didn't have it then, the look is more effective) to color the combination, olives, pitted with and without filling, as well as a few chunks of spring onion. Of the cheeses, there is a Trappist and white cheese slice. Both are hard and easy to cut, so the choice fell on them, they don’t crumble. The photo also shows mayonnaise and pickles, and there were a few boiled eggs.

So let's start slowly.

We start with tortillas. Coat the tortilla with cream cheese, cheese spread, or whatever you have already chosen. A pizza knife (it's the easiest to cut) or a good, sharp knife. Then cut the tortilla into strips about 2 cm wide, then put half a roll of salami sandwich, so that the semicircle protrudes, at the beginning, you can go olive, diced cheese, tomato, cucumber, whatever comes to mind. Curl and pierce with a toothpick, and add olives to the beginning or end. We have those who just adore them and I put olives everywhere. You turn as in the photo and it’s over. To make it faster, immediately cut the salami sandwich in half, save the olives, cheese cubes…. and you just wrap and pierce. Where you put a quarter of an egg, they can't stand upright, so you lay them. You immediately put it on a tray and put it aside. Some stand legally and some lay down, some with olives, some with cheese, and some with pepperoni.

After that, spread other cream cheese on toast bread, baguette-cut into rings obliquely, or a muffin. Put a piece of cucumber on the cheese, then lettuce, pierce the olive or cheese with a toothpick, then press the ham leaf like an accordion and pierce everything together through the bread, cucumber, and salad. The cucumber here serves to keep everything in place. The combinations are various. Leave a few pieces of bread only with the cheese spread so that later you can stick everything you have left on them.

Arrange the ham on the cutting board in two rows, as many as you want. Apply a hard cheese spread, lettuce, onion, and wrap everything. In the middle can olives, can eggs, can sandwich salami, toast cubes… Must be firm. Put in the fridge, then cut into rings. It wasn't firm for me, I was in a bit of a hurry, but I solved everything by putting each roll on a piece of toast and then piercing everything with a toothpick.

And in the end, you take a large stick for skewers and stab it in order, if you have no idea, use a photo to start with, and then maybe inspiration will work for you.
