Humans started using cash currency as late as 40,000years ago starting in upper paleolithic, I wont dive much into how far money has come to be but in essence, money has taken a lot of shape over the years, from silver to gold to ivory to even salt. The trend of a cashless economy began in the 1990s.
The cryptocurrency came as a surprising event to everyone, bitcoin being the first ever famous crypto founded in 2009 paved way for a greater and another view on cashless economy since then other cryptocurrency has been slowing creeping in and changing the ways on how money can work. From bitcoin to etherum, litecoin, bitcoin cash, tron and the rest of them, financial experts have been the credibility and the opportunities in these cryptocurrencies, currently now tron as one of the leading crypto currency has been on tremendous increasing after etherum that has gained over $100 increase following the pandemic incidence. Just like the famous author of "rich dad poor dad" once said
"Do not save. Buy silver, gold and bitcoin. Dollar is dying"
I personally believe that in the next 20years or so, physical money will be a thing of the past and investing in crypto currency is one of the sure ways of securing financial freedom in this 21st century
