Animal kingdom: Cat

Cats are magnificent ancient animals that were regarded as sacred animals in ancient Egypt. Cats were worshipped and deemed as special animals as they were believed to bring good luck and smooth business in ancient Egypt.

Cats are omnivorous mammals that can weigh up to 5kg, 35cm in size and can run up to 48km/h.

Cats lifestyle are always solitary and they spend most of their day (average of 16hrs) sleeping. Cats loved to be given attention by humans and its surroundings and cats can get along with most animals, including dogs.

An average lifespan of a cat is up to 15 years and cats are arguably believed to have the best senses (sight, hearing, taste, smell and sneakiness).
