Found across the sub-saharan Africa and inhabiting open plains and the savanna, the African wild dogs dwell as group predators.
This specie of dogs are highly sociable as they live and move together in groups. These groups are also known as packs.
The African wild dogs feed on antelope, rodents and warthog. This dogs can live up to 13 years, weigh up to 17kg, and the African wild dogs can run up to 72kp/h.
