Also known as two-spotted Palm Civet, this solitary mammal is natively found in central and Eastern Africa.
The African Palm Civets are known to be opportunistic in nature and they tend to inhabit whichever environment that favours them. This habit of theirs is the reason why they are believed to be the most common carnivorous forest animals, dwelling in the forest.
African Palm Civets basically feed on rodents, frogs, snakes and expose to predators such as lions, leopards, and bigger snakes.
African Palm Civets can live to 20 years and mostly hunt at night.
