5 Days Vacation in Japan!

How many days is the ideal vacation to Japan? If a traveler wants to be satisfied traveling around Japan, try exploring this Sakura Country for five days. Moreover, soon Japan will experience spring. Guaranteed to have an even more exciting holiday experience with views of cherry blossoms everywhere.

Apart from seeing cherry blossoms, travelers can also visit unique castles and temples. Its architectural style makes for an instagramable photo backdrop. There are also several villages that can be visited in the Land of the Rising Sun.

If you are interested in traveling to Japan for five days, consider the following itinerary.

Day 1: Osaka - Kyoto - Gifu

Your tour in Japan can be started from Osaka City. A traveler can visit Osaka Castle which was a Japanese royal palace in the 16th century. The view from the magnificent Osaka Castle building is made even more beautiful with the cherry blossoms in bloom. Of course this experience is a moment that cannot be missed.

Then the journey continues to the cultural city of Kyoto to visit Kiyomizu Temple which is the oldest temple in Japan. Then a traveler can continue the trip to Gifu or the surrounding area to rest.

Day 2: Gifu - Shirakawago - Takayama - Kanazawa

A traveler can travel around Japan starting with a visit to Shirakawa Village or Shirakawa Village which is a UNESCO world heritage in 1995. This village presents unique people's houses because they are made of straw or often called Gashho Zukuri Style.

At noon, the trip continues to Takayama which is known as the city of sake makers in Japan. The journey then continues to Takayama Old Town Sanomachi to see shops selling all kinds of local sake and souvenirs.

Day 3: Kanazawa - Matsumoto

If you visit Kanazawa City in spring, don't miss Kenrouken Park from the itinerary. This park is one of the most beautiful gardens in Japan to see cherry blossoms. Travelers can also take pictures at Kanazawa Castle, Bukeyashiki Street and Higashi Chaya, and see where Samurai live.

Day 4: Matsumoto - Mount Fuji - Kawaguchi

A traveler can visit Matsumoto Castle and head straight to the Mount Fuji area, the highest mountain in Japan located west of Tokyo. Don't miss the chance to get a closer look at Mount Fuji at Fuji 5th Station which is at an altitude of 2,200 meters. Take it easy, a traveler does not need to climb to reach Fuji 5th Station because a special tour bus has been provided.

Once satisfied enjoying the scenic beauty of Mount Fuji, a traveler can buy souvenirs at Gotemba Premium Outlet which provides more than 200 shops. This area is located in Gotemba, Shizuoka.

Day 5: Kawaguchi - Tokyo

Start the city tour by visiting Ueno Park to see the cherry blossoms. This park is a fairly well-known park in Japan and is usually used as a place for hanami, a typical activity for Japanese people to enjoy the beauty of cherry blossoms together with family and friends.

The journey then continues past the Imperial Palace which is the residence of the Emperor, taking pictures at the Tokyo Skytree. After that, a traveler can visit Asakusa Temple, one of the largest temples in Japan with the characteristic of very large lantern decorations. In the afternoon, a traveler can enjoy relaxing time while shopping on Nakamise Street.
