It was during the summertime. A reality TV show had just begun, "Big Brother Naija". It was and is still the biggest reality TV show in Africa. It has had about 3 seasons before this year's season.
It was really a good time for this reality show to kickoff as the whole world was on lockdown. Almost everyone would watch it and participate in the voting action. The company was in for a massive cashout.
It all started and everyone was intrigued and engrossed it in the program. It was talked about everywhere on the media and even when people discuss it. I couldn't scroll past three posts without seeing at least one that relates to the reality show.
Some people hated it, but the majority loved it. It was all about youths who would be locked in a house for ninety days and would be kept in the house by the number of votes you get from fans. So while you're in there, you need to make the fans love you.
There was a beautiful lady who was part of the housemates who had a lot of fans and also had lots of haters. People would fight each other online just because of her. She was the talk of the show.
on one faithful day, there was an argument going on about this lady online, her name is Erica. Below was the conversation between a fan of hers and a non-fan.
Nonfan: I don't really like this Erica girl
Fan: You must be out of your mind. Cursed be the day you were born. I wish you were dead
Two months had passed and it had all died down. This nonfan of Erica was in his office when a young-looking lady, well dressed and looking smart stepped in. He welcomed her and asked her why she came to his office. "I'm in search of a job sir", she replied. He asked for her name. "My name is Rita Solomon", she replied.
That name rang a bell. It sounded so familiar. Where had he seen this name before? he must have seen it somewhere online. He let it slide.
The interview was conducted and she was to wait for his reply. He got home still thinking where he had seen that name before. He decided to search for it on Twitter. The result ke[t him amused. It was the same lady who cursed him online just because of a reality TV star!!!! He didn't even know what to say, he just kept on laughing. The internet never forgets.

I recently heard Big brother is invented in the Netherlands and it started over there again too. If you ask me this program is worldwide broadcasted and those who join are all the same. The drama, fights, relationships and envy. You have to like it.
