The love of money is the root of all evil?. Well biblically we would make sense, but no man whatsoever would desire to be slaves to his finances when there is a head way.
Almost everybody needs funds. The sudden shift in focus on the title" C.E.O" , has rung the bell of impatience on Nigerians, as jobs(menial) , education and many patient processes or start up is seen as rate chase, being broken and cannot fit them into today's standards. Thanks to the pandemic that handed the baton of time to students, they gradually joined this clan of youths.
As a student entrepreneur, I have noticed an unusual trend that I would love to address.
First, I want you to understand that this piece isn't for anyone doing fraud as you cannot denote any meaningful content message. It is true that Africa glorifies lateness and African parents are of the opinion that most of the skills are rich schemes , but well let me make you happy! It's all a lie, you can always find your balance, the simple point I want to share is the power of balance timing and goal setting.
Prioritizing and setting goals are one of the biggest ways to ease the pressure on yourself as a business person and getting good grades, first , "proper itemization or listing of goals" it could come by splitting the day into segments, or different hour's, one other important thing to note is, you are not wrong to be financially literate, so don't buy the idea of facing your book solely and not making any reasonable progress with yourselves as an individual, you can do both.
Secondly you have to realize that you are double the kind of an average student i.e one who solely faces his academics or has no other business engagement, for you doing business you have to sacrifice! If you cannot sacrifice, turn back, balancing entrepreneurship and school isn't for you.
Getting mentors or accountability partners are also very important, you cannot pass through this journey alone, you need to understand that some people are more experienced, skilled and better than you are at such, so to be a master you must be a subject.
The immense pressure for you to deliver is something you should run away from, please understand that you are not a free person and business isn't your only priority , school and education is also much important so know when to take breaks, and pause to figure focus on academics. Getting business materials, attending seminars and training would also improve you , and always remember , the secret is balance! have a lovely journey ahead, you can make it work.
