Bangladesh has a history of 3,600 years. Our rulers can be divided into several parts in bold. For the first 2,700 years, various Hindu dynasties ruled here, of which Shashanka is the most successful because before his time Bengal was divided into many smaller kingdoms.

It lasted from 590 to 625. It was then divided again and turned into small independent kingdoms as before. The Pala dynasty was able to reunite Bengal as a state for the longest time since 650 AD. Then after the conquest of Bengal by Muhammad bin Bakhtiyar Khilji in 1204, Muslim rule began which lasted till 1757. Approximately 103 Muslim kings ruled Bengal at this time, although we know more about the Mughal rulers at this time. Then Bangladesh 1971.

With the partition of India in 1947, it became the Pakistani province of East Bengal (later renamed East Pakistan), one of five provinces of Pakistan, separated from the other four by 1,100 miles (1,800 km) of Indian territory.
