Can you solve Rubik’s cube? What is the shortest time of yours solving Rubik’s cube? Or you have difficulties solving it? Well, in able to solve Rubik’s cube, we need to master its patterns and it took times to master it.

In this article, we will tackle about the man or the fastest Rubik’s Cube solver that currently hold the Guinness World Record.But before that, we have to know first what is Rubik’s Cube.

What is Rubik’s Cube?

According to Wikipedia, Rubik’s Cube is a 3D combination puzzle invented in 1974 by Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Erno Rubik .Rubik’s cube is originally called as The Magic Cube. The puzzle was licensed by Rubik to be sold by Ideal Toy Corp. In 1980 via businessman Tibor Laczi and Seven towns founder Tom Kremer.

Different Types of Rubik’s Cube

Classic 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube

Each of the six faces are covered by nine stickers, traditionally red,white,blue,yellow green and orange.

Mirror Cube or Mirror Blocks

A cube shape puzzle that, instead of different colors on each side has different shaped pieces and usually silver reflective stickers that are all the same. In this type of Rubik’s Cube, there is no two movable pieces(including centers) share the same shape but, but even those have different heights from the core. This Rubik’s Cube will solved once it has been returned in its original state.

Megaminx(Rubik’s Cube with 12 faces)

This was previously called as Hungarian Supernova. This was patented by Uwe Meffert. A dodecahedron-shaped face-turning twisty puzzle which is very similar to the Classic Rubik’s Cube. Solving with the classic one is almost the same. They just added new algorithms to come when you reach the last layer.

The Big Cube or the 7x7x7

There is main method to solve this type of Rubik’s Cube,they called it the NxN method or the “Reduction” or “Redux” for short. Reduction involveds solving all the edges( matching up the pieces from the same edge to make one solved”edged”.

Is a shape-shifting three layered twisty puzzle.The solution for this comes with uniqueness due to kite-shaped corners and the triangular edges are indistinguishable to the puzzle inner mechanism.

Corners can swapped with the edges and its possible to have 10 pieces in the upper layer while six in bottom.

The 3x3x4 Rubik’s Cube

This pieces have the same size as a 3x3x3 but there is extra layer.This puzzle is available in black and white body colors.

He is Felix “Faz” Zemdegs,an austrilian boy from Melbourne Victoria, Austria.He was born on December 20,1995. He is known as the “Fastest Rubik’s Cube speedsolver”. He has currently holding 606 Gold Medal, 109 Silver Medal and 59 Bronze Medal. He has currently 121 World Records, 206 Continental Records and 6 National Record. And of course, he completed the Rubiks Cube puzzle in just 4.22 seconds that brings him to get the Guinness World of Record that was previously held by SeungBeom Cho from republic of korea that held the record of 4.59 seconds. Zemdegs also holds other solving record title of “Fastest time to solve a Rubik’s Cube one-handed”.
