Your Beliefs Can Either Destroy You or Help You

If you believe that money will bring you more happiness, your actions will align with that belief.

If you believe that money won't bring you more happiness, your actions will align with that belief, too.

Whatever your belief, it influences your behavior.

Even if you don't believe in something, that is still a belief.

There's no right or wrong. But you have to ask yourself whether those beliefs are helpful or not.

One sign when a belief isn't helpful is when you feel miserable.

For example, you're having money problems. It's probably because you have a belief that money is not that important. Or maybe you have a belief that having material possessions can bring you ultimate happiness (that's why you spend all your money to buy stuff).

And to make matters worse, you don't want to be alone with your beliefs. You will always find ways to support them. You will always try to back it up with stories from other people. This way, you feel certain. You feel safe.

But that could be dangerous, especially if your beliefs don't really add value to your life (or the people around you).

The good news is that you have a choice — a choice to replace your limiting beliefs with the right beliefs to help you grow as a fulfilled human being.
