Are you a fan of short stories? If yes, then you are in the right place. From now on, I will post stories for you. I hope you will enjoy reading them.
This would be the first story. It is entitled Daydreaming.
Anastacia came across a hefty downpour of rain while walking in an unfamiliar place. She could feel the racing droplets flowing all over her body. She can't imagine why she is there, and she was totally unaware of what is happening.
She was crying all alone. She does not know the whole reason why she was crying, but she is pretty sure she feels heavy. To name it, anger, pain, and hatred are what she feels now.
While looking at the place, specifically while wandering in the middle of a quiet road, there is no trace of people nor animals. Though she could hear unnecessary noise. Her knees started trembling, and her hands were numb. She feels so weak! Any moment, she might faint.
And because of the shiverings and weakness of her body, she fell to her knees on the dark and quiet road. She immediately felt pain and soreness in her knee due to her sudden kneeling. She cried even more because of the pain she was feeling. Tears continuously flowing down her cheeks.
"Anastacia..." an unfamiliar voice suddenly called her name.
She could not determine who called her name, and because of it, she stopped crying and calmed herself before slowly looking in the direction where the voice was coming from. She was shaking while looking at everywhere. But before she could turn around and see the person calling, her surroundings suddenly became darker, and she did not know what happened next.
After a few moments, she lost her consciousness.
She woke up to the sound of the alarm clock.
"Waaaa!" She suddenly woke up and was thrown into bed due to the noise caused by her alarm. Oh, it's already freaking 5:30 in the morning!
"So, does it mean a dream? I hope so." Said she. She tried to pinch her nose, and she felt a pain in it. That is the time she confirmed that she is no longer in a dream. She just turned around, and lazily turned off the alarm before returning to lay down again in her soft and fluffy bed.
"Grr, disturbing! I still feel dizzy." Said she.
She returned to her position just before she woke up and grabbed her pillow and closed her eyes again.
"Ahhh, I really want to sleep more!" She started blabbering and blabbering. Then her eyes widened again because she felt strange on her pillow.
"Why is my pillow wet? Has anyone urinated it? Impossible, it is not smelly."
She thought about standing up and checking the pillow properly to see if it was really wet or maybe it was just getting cold. But after she touched it a few times, it really got wet.
"Where did it come from? Why it suddenly became wet?"
She immediately approached the large mirror of her room to look at her own appearance. She brought her face close to the mirror and looked into her eyes. She was surprised by this and thought of a possible reason.
"Is my dream terrible again? Whoa! What happened there? Why did I cry so much?" Said she while still wondering.
"OMG, it could be we broke up with my love? OMG, I really love him, so why would we separate? I do not think it is possible."
After saying it, she then realizes the truth. The truth slapped her so hard because actually, she is not in a relationship in the first place. She was just daydreaming.
So, anyways she does not remember her dream, but whatever happened there, I hope everything is fine, and I hope it does not cause problems in my life.
She just erased the dream from her mind and ignored it again.
This is not the primary point that she had dreamed of something that made her cried a lot, but the only thing she recognized is that whenever she is daydreaming she always forgot about it every time she awakened up.
Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed it
