Freelance platforms exist to help connect freelance workers with potential gigs. These sites may be dedicated to all-in-one general freelance work or to specialized niches.

There are freelance websites for graphic designers including Fiverr, DesignHill, DesignCrowd, and 99Designs. There are also freelance marketplaces for general skills such as WordPress management, social media marketing, and data entry. In addition, sites such as Toptal and Gigster cater to freelance software developers, finance experts, and project managers.

Here, we've put together a list of the best freelance websites for writers looking for new clients and gigs. The sites enable freelancers to look for both part-time and full-time work. They’re also suited for different skill levels so you can find a new writing opportunity whether you're just starting out or are an expert in the industry.

Your hard work will pay off though as you begin to work with clients and build a reputation as an expert writer on the site. All these websites have cut-throat competition so you would very rarely find any work. It's much better to find clients through other methods (like linkedIn or personal contacts) and start forming your own network.

If anyone wants some guidance related to that, I wrote an article about it sometime ago, hopefully it comes to help: https://read.cash/@Kyouma29/tips-for-starting-out-with-freelance-writing-f2390463
