Transactions in banks will continue till 2 pm

Bangladesh Bank has set a new schedule for banks across the country to increase corona transmission. Transactions will continue till 2 pm and the bank will remain open till 4 pm.

However, banks will remain closed in the government-declared red zone due to public holidays. However, if there is another decision, the transaction can be carried out till 12 noon and the bank can be kept open till half past noon.

According to the notification, Motijheel, Dilkusha, Agrabad and Khatunganj are included in the red zone but the bank can keep transactions up to 2 pm and open till 3 pm. And in Green or Yellow Zone transactions will continue till 2 pm and will remain open till 4 pm.
