Good afternoon friends. I hope you're having a great weekend. I hope you get value from today's article.

We can all testify of how wonderful and great it feels like to receive from others. However, the joy of receiving doesn't last long. We access greater level of joy when we share with others and helps others in order to better their lives.

When you give from the heart not for eye service, great joy fills your heart. The reward for giving may sometimes not come immediately but it's far more valuable than the what you gave out. Mahatma Gandhi once said, “To find yourself, lose yourself in the service of others.” What a great statement.

Giving helps to take away your focus from yourself and allow you to go beyond your physical limitations. Real joy is only discovered when you give without the intentions of receiving anything in return.

Why should we then give?

If you are asked on why people give, the most common answers are: I just feel like, God wants me to, because others need etc

Whenever you you shift your focus from yourself to others, there's every tendency that you become less selfish and concerned about your own needs and challenges. Giving provides an opportunity for you to learn to be selfless.

You begin to see better when you stop thinking of yourself only and putting others into consideration. Your worries and challenges will begin to look insignificant when to learn selflessness and giving.

The act of giving helps to increase your self-esteem and it has a way of giving you happiness and a kind of fulfilment. The discovery of scientist is that happiness is related to how grateful you are.

One of the ways of achieving inner happiness is by gratitude. When you increase how grateful you're, your level of happiness increases also.

Another way of achieving inner happiness and fulfilment is by giving and helping others.

Giving is one of the best ways you can achieve true happiness. Genuine giving must come from the heart, with no expectation of reciprocation from the receiver. You’ll find out that it is true that the more you give, the more you receive.

Giving can only be manifested in the kindness, love and generosity that you show or give on someone else. There's a kind of positive energy you emit whenever you give selflessly.

There's a Chinese proverb that says: “If you always give, you will always have.”

Ken Blanchard also said “The more I give away, the more comes back.”

Anytime you find yourself feeling unhappy, why not try making another person happy and you see what happens thereafter. If you’re feeling unfulfilled, try helping someone out with his task or work, you'll surely see the change. The only clause is that you must do the work with enthusiasm and willingness.

There are so many organizations, institutions, companies and people who have engaged themselves with giving to the less privileged and the society at large. And they've surely seen the reward of giving, that's why they never stop giving to people because of the advantages of doing that.

It’s the joy, love and care that we extend to others that brings true happiness, fulfilment and unites us with God. When we give, we put bright smiles, laughter and sometimes tears of joy on the faces of people.

We know that if people can just give little of whatever they have, whether it's money, time, love, knowledge and compassion, the world would be a better place because we would all become selfless. The universe was created to give and not to hoard anything to itself, right from the sun, to the cloud, to the soil and others.

The rewards of giving are immeasurable. So if you want happiness, why not give happinessf first. If you want love, give love first. It is only when you give, that you'll receive. No matter what your circumstances you are in life, you still have the ability to give.

Conclusions:

So try as much as you can to always look for opportunities to give and help others.

The more you give, the more you'll recieve.
