Source of wisdom 2

Good afternoon friends. I trust that you're having a great day. I know today is Saturday and it's filled with a lot of house chores. I also have chores to do here.

Today is 30th which means that we have just 1 more day and the month will be over. Thanks to God for keeping us till this day.

Yesterday, I started to write about wisdom, source of wisdom and the ways wisdom is manifested. I started a story that'll help to illustrate the different ways wisdom is manifested. Now here's the continuation

A quick recap: I was talking about you driving on an highway, and you see a signpost vthat reads: 'Beware, a ditch is ahead'.

But when even after seeing the signpost, you ignore the warning and speed up until you entered the ditch and you're stuck there, another person that chooses to ignore that warning and continues to drive fast, on seeing you stuck in the ditch will be forced to slow down because he has seen the consequence of the first person's negligence. Both the first and second person learnt wisdom from experience but the first person will be leaving with the consequences of his disobedience while the second will be lucky to have escaped the consequences. If they both drive now and see a signpost on the road, they'll stop to read what's on the signpost and obey it because of their previous experience of disobedience. Here's an example of learning wisdom by experience and by instructions. Wisdom by experience is what shows the difference between and adult and a child. The adult because of the number of years he has spent has more experiences than the child so this shows the difference in their wisdom in doing things. Really there's a kind of wisdom that comes with age.

Back to where I stopped before the example. There are ways to receive wisdom from the Lord Jesus.

1. By Praying: When we pray to God fr wisdom, He has promised in the bible that He'll give wisdom to whoever asks of Him. So take the advantage by asking with faith that He is, hears and will give you wisdom.

2. By Fellowship: Fellowship is different from praying. It is a bigger type of prayer. In fellowship, you stay with God not minding time just the way you stay with your friends talking and gisting. So just stay and engage God in a conversation, allow Him talk and be free to talk with Him. In fellowship, it's very formal, because He wants you to be open to Him. Don't be like Adam that went to hide when God came to fellowship with Him. Be free, He's your father.

3. From His Word: The Word here is the Bible. Oh what great wisdom is in the Bible. When you read and meditate on the Word of God, 8t is certain that you'll get the wisdom necessary for you at the moment. If you meditate and allow God communicate to you, you'll see the wisdom required.

4. By being attentive to the Holy Spirit in you: There are times that you need an urgent direction on what to do. Be calm, if you really pay attention to the Holy Spirit in you, I'm sure that He has something to tell you concerning that matte that'll more or less solve the problem.
