We all like to get immediate response to our efforts. Instant gratification is something so common among youths. This is because of the deception in the society now.
I'm so sure it'll be so nice to have a six or seven-figure business flourishing in the first 3 months of start-up, with a customer strength of over a hundred thousand people.
You would have just become a recipient of instant success.
But the thing there is that, the success might not be long lasting because when you get get something you're not mature enough to handle, abuse of that thing is inevitable.
So many people on a journey to find success in different areas. Some people just want the success to be handed over to them on a silver platter within the first few months of work, while some others are willing to put in the required effort or work and diligently continue working until the expected success is reached.
The second set of people are the ones that understand that it takes time for success to be attained that is in the long term, because when you understand and ready to work and not give up on what you want, the success or rewards cannot be compared to that of the people that want instant success with a little amount of effort or work.
Hardwork, diligence and persistence are the three qualities that everyone needs to have in order to reach a great height. Because good things don't come that easy, if it came that easy, everyone would be successful. It takes time for a seed to become a great tree that can serve different purposes.

You know when you spent much time, effort, money and resources on a particular thing, there's a level of worth you attach to it when compared to another one which didn't consume much effort.
Take for example, no other person can value a new baby like the mother would, not even the father, this is because it's the woman that went through a major part of the process, right from the conception till the labour time in the hospital, that's why women cry when the nurses give their babies to them after the delivery because they can visibly see, touch and carry the reason for past 9 months pain, discomfort they experienced, not to talk of the pain, screams, shouts they underwent during the delivery process.
When you really go through the process that produced the success you have now, you'll value it more than anything and more than another peron would.
2. It helps to build your character
There's a level of behavioral mastery you need to attain for you to be able to handle a kind of success.
I've heard people say hardwork and talent takes you to the top but character keeps you at the top. I've found this to be true.
The problem her now is not about getting to the top but maintaining your spot on the top.
It takes a person who has gained mastery over his character to stay at the top.
The higher you go, the more slippery it becomes. If you do not allow the process to teach you how to work on your character, you might not be allowed to stay at the top for a long time because your character will bring you down fast. You just need one mistake to loose your integrity and the trust people have in you. And once this is lost, there's a little chance that you'll be regain the trust of people.
3. This kind of success is a sustainable one
Hard work cannot be brushed aside on the journey to success, and that with diligence and persistence is what guarantees you genuine, long lasting and sustainable success.
If you would take advice on your business or company, which of these would you rather take advice from? Is it the one with a substantial years of experience in that business or the one who advertises 'how to get rich guick' template.
If you even get instant success, like let's say you get a hundred of customers, you should immediately ask yourself if you can sustain that level of success.
Conclusions
The next time you start wishing for success, do not allow yourself be so consumed with the mindset that looks for instant success.
You also need to realise that the successful people you see everyday are the ones who were willing and they did put in the worknneeded to attain that level of success they have now
