Be Mentally Strong
Mentality is your mindset, your own way of thinking and what you believe. It is your attitude or opinion especially what you do repeatedly.
I will say being strong is the ability to stay determined and unyielding.
Being mentally strong is having the good mindset and staying determined to keep it that way, not letting a thing get in the way.
Here are some tips to stay mentally strong 👇
Move on even when you fail. You do not have to waste time feeling sorry for yourself.
Always embrace change and welcome challenges. You should know they make you more stronger.
Be happy no matter what, don't waste energy on things you can't control.
Be kind to everyone, be fair and always be unafraid to speak up. Say your mind if something doesn't go well with you.
Be willing to take calculated risks, they will keep your mental health stronger.
Always celebrate other people's success, do not resent success.
Accept Then Change
One thing we find hard to do is to admit or accept our mistakes, we tend to justify ourselves to avoid being embarrassed or look bad to people. We should understand that we make mistakes to do things better.
If we are corrected even by someone we think we are better than, we should accept it and make sure never to make such mistakes again.
The worse thing is making a single mistake all over again without thinking of making a change. Continuous mistakes will continue to give bad results which will result to people thinking bad of you.
Surely experience is the best teacher but some of us seem not to learn from our experience to make a great turn.
A few days ago, I was outside our house relaxing when I heard a woman shouting at her daughter that she never listens to her. The woman pointed out a lot of wrongs her daughter had done that she refuse to take corrections and one of them is that she doesn't like coming home early, always coming home late at night. The woman was scared but her daughter feels there is nothing wrong with coming home late at night, she refused to accept corrections.
Recently I heard she was robbed and they took her expensive phone and bag having some cash in it. She was full of regret because she knew her mum has been warning her about it but she decided to learn it the hard way.
Taking corrections will not harm us in any way, it will only save us. People who corrects you love you, you should accept their love by accepting their corrections and making a positive change.
I hope I was able to talk to someone with this, let's accept our wrongs, take corrections and make a great change in the way we live our lives.
