To manifest is to show forth, to reveal, to showcase something, usually something desirable, something pleasurable, something worth having. Faith is the link to the supernatural realm, which links man with God, it is the basic ingredient to begin a relationship with God. Faith opens the door to supernatural manifestations.
Faith can move mountains; it can make the impossible possible! In other words, faith is the door leading to great manifestations. Without faith therefore the manifestations of the power of God that you desire in your life will remain elusive.
Lazarus died and has been buried for four days, so neither Mary nor Martha nursed any hope that they will have their brother back. Of course they loved their brother and would do anything to have him back but to them, death is the end, and people do not come back from the dead. There are occasions when the manifestations we desire appear to be impossible and this was the case with Mary and Martha, so when Jesus told them to remove the stone, Martha blurted out a complaint that clearly revealed her unbelief, Jesus in His response reiterated the necessity of faith to the manifestation of that which we seek or desire.
Does God still perform miracles today? Of course, He does. Every time you exercise your faith, you are positioning yourself rightly for the manifestation of God’s miraculous power. What therefore is that mountain in your life that needs to move? In what areas of your life do you desire to see the manifestation of God’s power or what manifestations do you desire to see in your life? Faith makes it possible.
You should therefore avoid unbelief because it will delay the manifestations of the power of God in your life. Jesus did so many miracles in Capernaum, but when he got to His home town we were told that he was unable to perform much miracles because of unbelief (Mark 6: 1-6). Familiarity will sometimes bred unbelief, do not become too familiar with Jesus to the point that you will no longer be able to believe in Him as you should.
If only you will believe, you will see the glory of God. Shalom
PRAYER:
1) Father please help me to grow and to walk in faith such that the manifestations that I desire in my life will be a reality.
2) I command mountains of problem, affliction, pain, disappointment, failure, indebtedness and others to be cast away out of my life now in Jesus Name.
3) I command every faith killing agents assigned to kill faith in my life to die now in Jesus name.
4) Father as I begin to walk in the realm of faith, please grant me access to great manifestations in all areas of my life in Jesus name. Amen.
5) Lord, I believe you are faithful, you have never failed and you will not start with me. Give me the grace to stay in faith regardless of my circumstance. In Jesus Name. Amen.
