Choco cake Chocoflan Loaf Cake (Magic Cake) Ingredients: Flan 3 whole eggs 3/4 cup condensed milk 1/4 cup evaporated milk 1/4 tsp vanilla extract Cake 1 cup All Purpose Flour 2 eggs 1/2 cup butter (softened) 1/4 cup cocoa powder 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 cup sugar 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1/4 cup fresh milk 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/4 cup water Procedure: 1. Ilagay sa pan ang 1/2 cup na sugar, pwedeng dagdagan kung gusto. Hayaan na matunaw sa low-medium heat habang hinahalo, once melted na, alisin sa apoy at ilagay ang 1/4 cup na water. Ibalik sa apoy at haluin hanggang matunaw na ulit ang tumigas na asukal, kapag malapit nang kumulo, alisin sa apoy at isantabi para lumamig. 2. Ilagay ang 3 eggs sa isang bowl at beat ito hanggang wala nang lumps. Ilagay ang condensed milk, evaporated milk at vanilla extract. Pwedeng gamitin ang blender para haluin ang mixture for 2 minutes, pwede din naman na mano-mano ang gawin na paghalo. Siguraduhin na walang buo-buo. Isantabi. 3. Once malamig na ang asukal at tubig na ginawa sa #1, ilagay ito sa well greased na loaf pan. Ilagay sa freezer habang ginagawa ang cake batter. 4. Ilagay ang softened butter sa isang bowl at i-beat ito, isunod na ilagay ang asukal, haluin hanggang sa maging fluffy at light ang mixture. Isa-isang ilagay ang itlog, siguraduhin na beat ang egg sa kada lagay saka ilagay ang vanilla at milk. 5. Sa isang bowl, pagsama-samahin ang flour, cocoa powder, baking powder at asin, haluin. 6. Gamit ang salaan, ilagay ang dry ingredients sa bowl ng wet ingredients, haluin gamit ang spatula hanggang sa wala nang makitang dry ingredients. Huwag iovermixed. 7. Kunin ang pan na may asukal sa freezer saka ilagay ang cake batter, isunod ang flan. Gumamit ako ng salaan nung nilagay ko ang flan. Kapag nilagay nyo ang cake batter, siguraduhin na walang butas between caramelized sugar at cake batter bago ilagay ang flan sa ibabaw. Takipan ng foil. 8. Ways to cook: Conventional Oven: Pre-heat ang oven sa 350°F, siguraduhin na may water bath sa loob (tray na may tubig) habang nagpipreheat. Once pre-heated na, ilagay ang loaf pan sa tray na may tubig. Hayaan itong mabake for 40-45 minutes, icheck ang cake after 40 minutes kung ok na by doing the toothpick test, kung hindi pa, ibalik sa water bath. Improvised Oven: Pre-heat ang kawali na may takip with wire rack for 5-10 minutes. Gawin lang ang instructions gaya sa conventional oven. Steamed: Siguraduhin na kumulo na ang tubig bago ilagay ang steamer, check ang cake after 40 minutes kung luto na, kung hindi pa, ibalik sa steamer. Laging gawin ang toothpick test to check kung luto na ang cake. 9. Hayaan na lumamig ang cake bago invert sa plate. Maaaring ilagay sa ref ang tirang cake for 5 days.
