Where does the question "why not" lead?
They stopped me on the street and asked if I could answer one question for one television station. I said "why not" . They asked me what I thought about the current state projects that would lead to the pollution of our environment. The microphone was already in front of my mouth and the camera in front of my eyes. I said that I do not support such projects and I hope that the government will give up the decision and agreement with a foreign company to dig lithium in the most beautiful part of our country, which will destroy rivers and everything that is the greatest value of our environment. Then they asked me if I would join the organized protests against this decision planned for next weekend. I said again "why not" .
This inspired me to write an article about the question "why not" .
It often happens to me to say "why not" when someone suggests something. So I am a "why not" person. I easily accept new challenges and I think that is the essence of life, to discover as much as possible and to experience as much as possible before life ends.
My statement to the media can be debetable, perhaps even potentially dangerous because it is not something that is preferable to hear in public due to the dictatorship that currently exists in my country. In this case, "why not" can lead to potential danger.
A neighbor asked me to drive him to pick up his mother at the doctor's because his car was being repaired. I said "why not". But his mother was infected with the virus, which put me at risk of getting infected as well. So "why not" in this case leads to risk.
My son asked me to take him to the playroom. I said "why not" . He was very happy and his happiness is also my happiness. In this case "why not" leads to happy moments.
A friend asked me to go skating. I didn't go skating for a long time. I thought I forgot to skate and I wasn't very interested in going but then I said "why not" . It was very exciting and we had a great time. In this case "why not" leads to excitement.
One day I decided to travel to Thessaloniki and tomorrow I was already there. I told myself "why not" . It was a quick decision, but I didn’t regret it because I had a great experience. In this case "why not" leads to a new experience.
Some time ago, my aunt recommended Michael Newton's book "Journey of Souls". I said "why not, I'll read it" . After reading this book, which is based on hypnosis performed on patients, I came to some new insights into the potential life of our souls after death that I did not believe in before. In this case, "why not" leads to new knowledge.
My team leader at work called me to come to work outside of working hours because there was a lot of work. I wasn’t thrilled but I said "why not" . When I received my salary I was pleasantly surprised by the extra money I received as compensation because it was in a much higher amount than expected. Here "why not" leads to extra money.
When a friend invited me to join the read.cash and noise.cash platforms, I immediately said "why not" . On the platforms I started to spend quality time writing and reading interesting articles. I met a lot of good people, who are really worth knowing. In this case why not leads to new friends and creative work.
In conclusion, I can say that life should be seen as a set of opportunities waiting to be used. When we say "why not" , we are actually opening the door to some new experiences that will make our lives more dynamic, interesting and rich. Life is quite boring if there are no potential dangers, risks, happy moments, excitements, new experiences, new knowledge, new friends, creative work. And extra money too. 😊
The situations mentioned are the situations from my daily life that first came to my mind. But actually my whole life is "why not".
And what about you? Do you say "why not" in situations where you could just say why or just not? 😊
Thank you very much for your time.

Greetings to all.
"Why not" which means "for sure I will". Interesting.
