Life changing quotes from the movie The Godfather

Last night, my husband and I watched the movie The Godfather, for the umpteenth time. My husband is a big fan of this movie, all three parts, and I am a big fan of certain quotes from the movie that I'm sure can change the life of every person for the better.

"A man who doesn't spend time with his family can never be a real man."

I find this quote very true. Real men are devoted to the family and respect its value and importance. Raising and educating children is not an easy job and we mature with them and become people who fight for true values. Everything comes from the family. If we respect our family, we have learned the most important life lesson.

"You cannot say 'no' to the people you love, not often. That's the secret. And then when you do, it has to sound like a 'yes'. Or you have to make them say 'no.' You have to take time and trouble."

We should be wise when saying no to the people we love. They need our " yes". But we are not always willing to say yes, and yet we can try to make it sound like we did, even though we didn't.

Sometimes when we talk about our thoughts, they could lose their real meaning that only we understand. Plans often go awry.

Over time, we forget the good deeds that others have done for us. Sometimes we forget before we have thanked. Save your gratitude for those who deserve it and never let it erode because time will take its toll if we are not aware of the gratitude we owe to others and to life.

Nothing is more important than self-belief, which motivates us to look at life positively. I would like to die with the thought that life is beautiful and not disappointed.

Forgive and forget. That is very nicely said. Unburden yourself. Experience everything bad that happens to you as a necessary evil, and don't keep forgiveness for yourself, but share it with others. Life is too short to remember bad things and to save forgiveness for better days.
