Are you designing your life?
Creating what people need is the greatest challenge of modern society. Nowadays, there is a lot of talk about design thinking, as a creative way of thinking, that contributes to understanding human needs and turns innovative ideas into action. Wherever we have people and their needs, we can apply design thinking concept.
Design is a process that always continues and never ends. In dynamic environments, checking people's needs and experimenting in finding ways to satisfy them, is a process that is constantly taking place and that finds its implementation in all fields of life and business. People use design to develop their creativity potential. Creativity is not a talent, but an ability that we develop and that can help us act in an innovative way.
I learned a lot about the design thinking concept and all its phases and I realized one thing that I want to share with you today. Design thinking is more than a process. It is a way of acting that inspires and opens up many possibilities for solving problems and understanding the needs that are waiting for their opportunity to be satisfied. Although it is applied most often in business, it can also be applied very successfully in ordinary life.
When was the last time you asked yourself what your needs are? We work, the days pass, our obligations overwhelm us and we rarely find time to think about our needs. Many of our needs never get their chance to be met and that's sad. Understanding and meeting needs is very important because it contributes to well-being. Therefore, if you haven't already, start designing your life now. Start with assumptions. Assume what you need, question yourself, define your needs and design a solution.
You will be surprised what ideas you will come up with and wonder how you didn't think of it before. Ignoring and suppressing needs leads to dissatisfaction, and life is too short to be dissatisfied. Think about how many times you get up when you're at work or whether you find time to sit down. Think about whether you protected your eyes while looking at the screen, how much water you drank, whether you ate fruit, whether you were physically active. Listen to your body because your body has its needs.
Design a solution. Buy digital eye strain protection glasses, exercise on a chair, stand up, sit down. Don't suppress your feelings. Give yourself the freedom to scream, cry, be silent. Your body and your mental state are not immutable. On the contrary, they change constantly and so do needs. And remember, needs exist to be satisfied.
Don't wait. Design your life now, respond to your needs. Use your power to change your life for the better.

Thank you for this wonderful message sis Jelena that somehow it's an eye-opener to some of us who are still not able to redesign our life that we must not waste time doing things that not give benefits us in the future.
