While traveling to Havana to meet with the Cuban ambassador to Spain after attending the National Assembly of the United Arab Emirates, the President expressed the importance of promoting labor communities protected by the island.

Likewise, there is a social policy that protects the most vulnerable and aims to provide financial assistance to people, not only for medical care but also to combat corruption, illegality and social norms.

Promoting real interaction with people on the streets, empowering women and fighting all forms of racism and oppression are the main objectives of the Cuban government, he added.

Demographic issues, a significant decrease in the population due to aging, care for children, young people and the creation of new jobs will complete the path that Cuba is preparing for the future.
