How's Life Before and After The Internet? I was born in the middle 90s and I have witnessed how the world transitioned from a traditional to a modern one. I guess it's safe to say how I have aged over the years. The world is totally different now compared to before. I can't imagine how technology will evolve in the years to come. So here are the changes I have witnessed as the technology evolves as I age: Spotify Before Spotify was introduced to me, I have known this music platform last 2016, I used to download mp3s from the internet in the computer shop and transfer them on my phone. My first phone was a China phone, I remember it contained a memory card of 512 MB. That's already a luxurious amount of memory cards back in the 2010s. That's when I first knew about **Bluetooth**. I remember my uncle transferred songs from his phone to mine but as curious as I was, there was an option on my phone saying "Format SD now?" Then I chose it and all of my files are gone. I didn't know what "format SD" meant at that time. So I learned about everything slowly since then.
Are you familiar with **Mp3juices or videokeman** websites? That's where I used to download the songs. **Tinder** I'm not really sure when Tinder became famous because I'm not into dating apps. I have never used dating apps ever since but the means of dating before was through asking the other in person. It's amazing how technology has changed lives even in relationships. These dating apps became the bridge to meeting people, connecting, and establishing great camaraderie within.
Before, the game FLAMES is what the kids were so fond of. What it does is that you will list the names of the two persons you are rooting for, crash out the letters they have in common, and find out if they are destined off as **Friends, Love, Acceptance, Marriage, Enemies, and Sweet** as a match**.** I had no idea who started that Flames game but back when I was younger, it feels so "***kilig***" when you find out that you are a match with your crush. **Google** Back in the early 2000s, the internet was a luxury. Compared to today where the internet is already considered a necessity, if you can afford to put up an internet connection in your home, you are a rich person. Wifi was not born yet before, everything is connected through a LAN connection. Oh wow, now I realized how much I have aged already.
Encyclopedias, books in the library, and Encarta 95 to 2009 were our Google before. Encarta was our main research buddy back when I was in high school. But now, everything is accessible and you can just find any information with just a click. **Mobile** Gaming Before these mobile games were introduced today, we had gameboys and brick games.
I remember when I was in grade school, I got so jealous of my neighbor bringing a brick game with her. So I ask my parents if they could buy me one and they did after a long while. I am very grateful for the childhood I had because it was full of memories that I'll cherish for the rest of my life. **Cellphones & Cameras** Our cell phones today can do almost everything. Before these megapixels were introduced, the cameras before require films to capture photos and develop them on the camera stores who develop photos. It is such a fun memory to look back on my childhood photos knowing that they were all taken from an old camera. Kids today will never understand how precious the developed photos were to us. As technology evolves, I wouldn't be surprised how far these megapixels could improve. Although I can still see some people trying to preserve the traditional way of taking photos like using polaroids. Just like fashion. Have you witnessed everything I have mentioned above? Nakakarelate ako dito sa lahat ng to madam, yun sa brick game eh sa sobrang kahiligan ko, muntik na masunog ang bahay namin eh dahol kahit brownout eh laro pa din basta may nakasinding kandila.. Then un tinder di ako nagsign up jan kasi nauso yan eh may asawa na ako, hehe.. Then un encyclopedia eh pangarap ko yan na di ko nakuha hehehe.. Naalala ko noon mag nag alok sa Mama ko ng encyclopedia, and hilig ko talaga magbasa noon kaya gustung gusto ko talaga sya. Tapos sabi pa ng tita ko na mas tatalino pa daw ako kapag nagbasa ako noon kaya ayun iniyakan ko talaga kasi di namin kayang bilhin.
Nyehehe. No doubt madam na matalino ka kase hilig jud nimo diay magbasa even before pa. 😁

Upgraded na talaga life natin ng dhil sa technology. Nakaabot tlga ako lahat ng yan ung encarta nagagamit nmin yan nung high school. Natutuwa nga ako kasi maraming games na nagbibigay ng learning.

The Internet has brought lots of changes to the world, some choose the good are while some are obsessed with the bad part of it. Part of the development is cryptocurrency and we all can testify how much good it has done for us.

I always cringe a little on the inside when i read articles like this from the kids these days. Then I get nostalgic and think back at the times when if you wanted to know what your buddy was doing and where he was, you'd simply go over to his house and ring the doorbell. If he was home, you found him but if he wasn't maybe his parents knew where he was else you'd be screwed! Also funny when you kids talk about how ancient the tech you had as kids were so archaic and old-fashioned. Then I remember my 8Kb Commodore Vic20 home computer and then laugh a little more. I remember playing chess, with actual little chesspieces, in the backseat of the car going on holidays. No newfangled DVD players or consoles back then. Sticking little pawns in little holes on a grid....
