Watermelon Capital of the North
Bani,Pangasinan is known to be the watermelon capital of the North. It is known to have the sweetest watermelon in Luzon. They have Pakwan (Watermelon) festival that they celebrate every January. A native once said that the secret is because of their land is near the ocean. They said that the watermelon gets its sweetness in sea salt. The roots suck up the salty water of the sea and the effect make the watermelon sweet. Bani located in Luzon, Philippines and is near near Alaminos and Bolinao. Known for their white sand beaches. And it lies near West Philippine sea. It is a nice tourist spot and the watermelon also boosts tourism in the province.

Hindi ako mahilig sa watermelon pero pagnakakakita ako natatakam ako.
masarap siya nakakatamad lang minsan kasi yung buto sagabal ahaha. ginagawa ko inaalis mo muna lahat ng bti tsaka ko kakainin para dirediretso ahaha

pakwan capital ng norte sis sa luzon. pero sa buong pilipinas sa iloilo... di ako sure haha... pero maganda sa bani white sand na din siya. malapit din siya sa hundred islands
