The stimulus
The stimulus is a situation that sets the communication in motion. It means what makes the person to start communicating.
That is, the reason for the communication encounter between two or more people
The encoder
This is the individual, group or organization who initiated the communication. The source is initially responsible for the success of the message
The message
This is the intention, idea, feeling, knowledge, or need sent across to the receiver. The message in a communication situation is the sum total of all that the source encoder desires to pass across to the decoder
