Rabbid's Capture

Mr. Rabbid's shaking his head "Something's wrong with spring," he said. Plants that should be in full bloom Are still locked deep in winter's gloom. Going to school Rabbid sees some confusion among the trees. In a leafless branch a cuckoo Who says the birds don't know what to do?! Spring can be early, it can be late But he's not known one with this fate. Just then on the path Rabbid sees A strangely odd but little bead. To use the bead, he has a ploy With it he can repair his toy. A counting frame Rabbid will mend and Bill Badger he will send He works so hard to mend the frame Though not as strong, it is the same. Open the windows he suggests Mrs. Rabbid agrees to his request As Rabbid a deep sleep enjoys Wakes with a start at a sudden noise Rabbid shouts raises the alarm It was a dream, there is no harm Next day, Rabbid sets off and blinks Maybe it was a dream, he thinks In the trees where the bead he found Sudden darkness, a rustling sound Rabbid struggles but small hands grip Just who would play this kind of truck? He's pushed along and hears a hiss The blanket falls, who is behind this?
