Once existed a city, Tirzah, a city blessed in abundance, one which flowed endlessly with milk and honey. A beautiful city blessed with an unending harvest for all who lived therein. All who lived therein lived happy and joyful lives. All was rosy and all was colorful to say the very least.
Tirzah was so blessed, that neighbouring cities and likewise nations from across the world benefitted from her abundance to help boost their respective economies in the different ways that suited every one of them.
Tirzah blossomed and bloomed in glory albeit under the leadership and guidance of foreigners who had colonized this city a decade ago. The elderly indigenes of this city came together and decided that it was time they gained their own independence having thought that they had matured well enough.
After series of meetings and dialogues with the foreign leaders, they eventually reached an agreement and leadership and governing of the city was handed over to the indigenes of the city. Tirzah had become an independent nation, perhaps we could say a Blessed Independent nation.
However, what was supposed to be a day of glory and celebration earmarked the beginning of the end of the blessing of harvest of Tirzah, the downfall of this beautiful and bountiful nation has just been set in motion.
The now-independent government of Tirzah, leader after leader and government after government have all been nothing but selfish, self-centered, corrupt and evil people who have no other ambition except to keep amassing wealth for no one but themselves and their families.
Soon enough, the once glorious city of Tirzah who was a great benefactor to many other cities had quickly become a shadow of its former self and with its resources now depleted and now in gross debt, the city is now a subject of laughing stock to other cities.
The rich keep getting richer and the poor, poorer was the new trend in Tirzah and the poor people were now the majority in the community. This continued for many years until a brave and courageous man decided to inspire change.
Having been told that “many people suffer for lack of knowledge”, he decided to begin to inspire change by first enlightening those around him. Therefore, one by one, he began to change the mindsets of those close to him setting off a chain reaction where those who were truly inspired, spread the same inspiration to others.
Soon enough the majority of the community were all inspired enough to elect a better leader who immediately turned the fortunes of Tirzah into glory once again. The lost glory of Tirzah was returned to her and the blessings started to flow again, all because one man decided to inspire change all around him.
