No! But I shouldn't have to tell you that. If you are a Nigerian, you already know how bad the power supply is in Nigeria, if you are a foreigner, imagine neymar junior on a football pitch. But why is it so bad, I mean....we pay our electricity bill every month but still.....well the root problem like everything else in Nigeria is bad leadership and corruption.

The now defunct NEPA was run by totally incompetent engineers but skillful technicians......In the sense that this organisation had no proper plan, growth of estimation, prediction/ forecast for developing the already established structures which were built by foreigners in the earlier days of the country .....but they were Hella good at ensuring what already existed was kept working whether in proper condition or not. And that my friends is the problem the Nigerian power grid has. Most of our power facilities are outdated, past their life cycles and need to be upgraded. These upgrades should have been planned over the long years which have passed but due to the lack of proper planning by professionals put in charge of our light, these plans were never envisioned nor implemented, so tell me how your old transformers and feeder lines can handle a load of 25MWs when they were designed to go off at 14MWs.

The truth is if your area currently has good electricity supply, thank God but if you are on the other spectrum......don't expect anything to change soon
