Today we are gonna delve into NFTs, mining and staking your earned crypto in Alien Worlds BETA

The video looks brilliant, the game is on the Wax blockchain which allows you to to not only earn TLM for mining, but stake that TLM to increase you mining yield or profits.
On sign up you will be required to link your Wax Cloud Wallet, if you don't have one you will be given the option to create one, once created and you start mining you will receive to free NFTs in your Wax Wallet,
These are your Avatar NFT and your first piece of equipment NFT as the game is still in BETA mode there is so much room to grow, but lets get into the basic's and see where we get to.
When you set up your Wax wallet you will be given a unique ID with a few letters and numbers and a .wam at the end of it, this will be used for your in game transactions such as receiving your earned TLM and staking your Earned TLM on the mining of an Alien World, you will also find your new NFTs in your NFT Inventory in that Wallet, I believe the Cryptocurrency is a Wax eosio.token a fork of Ethereum ERC20.
Their are many other blockchain games and dApps available to access in the wax cloud wallet ecosystem, but lets stick to one for now Alien Worlds.
OK so what is Alien Worlds? And why should I bother to play it?
Look at it this way if you currently spend your days playing games on the Playstation or Xbox you never actually own your in game purchases assets and/ or property, with Alien Worlds however you get to earn cryptocurrency for your in game play and get to keep any property/ assets you purchase or you basically own that actual digital property that you purchase/ earned, a unique NFT purchased and recorded on the blockchain that can be traded bought and sold, NFTs seem to be really taking off right now and are definitly worth some of your time as a possible future Investment, I am certainly no expert in NFTs or Blockchain gaming but I do see the advantages of earning a valuable asset in exchange for my time, much like blogging for BCH.
Just image if owners of Atari games, or supermario.bros could have owned their in game assets in those games, just what they could have been worth today, your very own mario character, power, move etc.
ALIEN WORLDS THE GAME
The game has a kind of retro space invaders feel to it, only better, once logged in as I said you pick your Avatar and Equipment, these two choices become your first NFTs.
Next you will be given an option of planets to start your mining on Each planet has a different Mining pot available, and fillrate, pick a planet with a larger mining pot available that's my suggestion as this means there is a larger pot to collect from.
Once you have chosen your planet, next you need to find good mining land, land that you can possibly see some potential in, your will give up a percentage of your mined TLM in exchange for using the land, I believe you will be able to buy, own and mine your own land at a later date, as you there is a land option in your home page.
It also looks like Weapons, Arti-facts and Minions are planned for future updates which will make for exciting gameplay and expansion.
When you have chosen your land option either the one provided by the game or you can search for your own to mine, you will see the percentage each owner wants in return for mining their land, you will then hit that mine button and begin your first Alien Worlds mining.
When the mining process has finished, it only takes 4 min's, a claim button will appear on screen, you click on the claim button connect your Wax Cloud Wallet and transaction ensues, you will then be taken back to the home screen where you can start saving your earnings or staking them in part or in total on mining a specific planet, again that option is entirely yours but the more you have staked the more you will receive in return.
