The colder days have begun and the arrival of winter is already being felt. In this article, I bring you some tips to get through this part of the year as carefree as possible. During the winter, the qualities of the water element prevail in nature. Everything is locked in cold, darkness, humidity, solitude and static. Nature sleeps, some animals hibernate, and we humans are a little slow in the winter days. We need more sleep, rest and silence, we eat hot stews and soups and if we have the opportunity we like to sit in front of the fire. The energy of the water element is calm and deep, it represents the ability to think deeply, to become aware of one's own inner qualities and to understand the deepest mysteries. People who live in harmony with nature can take advantage of it, this is an ideal time to think and make new decisions before spring when everything wakes up and starts a new beginning in nature, and therefore in us. Due to the lack of natural light, we can become discouraged and depressed, so it is desirable to put more light in the space, illuminate dark corners with floor or table lamps, and often light decorative candles throughout the home. It is important to use the sunny days, to gather as much sunlight as possible, because the sun in us is joy and good mood. Put as many soft pillows, warm blankets and thick blankets in the home, preferably in green, red and orange tones. Place a bowl full of fresh fruit and a vase of fresh flowers on the kitchen table. During the winter, the air in the room can be dry and polluted, which can lead to headaches, allergies and frequent colds, so it is recommended to put a humidifier or simply squirt water in several places in the room. We can put a few drops of lavender or some other aromatic oil we like in the water. The sound in the space is also important, which can instantly strengthen and improve our mood, the best are the sounds of nature, soothing music or the sound of water that has a calming effect. If you are able, place plants on the window or balcony that will, like a green barrier, mitigate the influx of unwanted external sounds and harmful gases. Hang out as much as possible with dear and positive people, take time to read, go for long walks, play with your children and try to rest as much as possible to be ready and full of energy to welcome spring.
