Aladdin's lamp

Aladdin's story was published in 1812. But although most of his published stories have been translated from the original Arabic manuscript, no trace of the last few volumes of the Arabian Nights, including Aladdin's story, has been found in the original Arabic manuscript. Rather, it is known from Gallo's diary that he did not find Aladdin's story in any manuscript. He heard the story in the face of an Xerxian boy named Hana Diab.
