The Beauty and Pain of Love

Finding the right person, a person you want to spend your life with, is the greatest accomplishment one can achieve. Yet, the unfortunate truth is that the right person doesn’t always come at the right time. And that makes all the difference.

You’re not guaranteed to find the right person at the wrong time, but it can happen. I’m living proof. I understand you may be thinking that if you met the right person, the person you loved with all your soul, things would just work out.

We see it in all the movies. Boy meets girl. Boy and girl fall in love. And they live happily ever after – roll credits. How wonderful it would be if the world were so simple.

But the reality is not easy as we think of it. Just like meeting the right person but at a wrong time. I could've imagine what if I met him before, maybe we could be together now. Everyone has its timing but for me I don't have, because we fell in love with each other but he already promised to someone whom he did not feel the love that we had. I tried to ask the world why life is so unfair. But later on I just realized that real essence of love is sacrificing. Sacrificing the one you love for others. I should've give him up but I am not selfish. It's okay that I will be the one to suffer the heartaches that seeing someone suffers because we choose to stay each other even if he already tied up with someone whom he first met than mine. Letting go wasn't easy but I prayed to God that gives me strength and courage to stand up and rise again. As of now, I am now in a healing stage where I already slowly letting go the story of us.
