PandaLand: The First GameFi On SmartBCH **January 24, 2022** *Long ago, when wishes came true. There lived a group of brave and righteous pandas in a mysterious eastern land. The wonderland they lived in was named PandaLand. And that's where our story begins...*

Let's get ready for the Panda rumble!! The cutest NFT on the Metaverse just landed on SmartBCH and created **PandaLand** to house the cutest and bravest group of Panda. The project is an original GameFi game and was created by the dev named Panda King (@PandaLandBCH) on Telegram, and from his name itself, he's certainly Chinese. The project didn't release an official whitepaper yet, but information about the NFT Game can be found in the link provided above where you could also do the minting and other functions would be implemented soon on the PandaLand. https://pandaland.cash/ Roadmap Looking at the Roadmap, the project started in the last quarter of 2021, specifically in ideation and art designing. And just recently, they launched the site that is available for minting Panda NFTs. The hunting would be implemented until February and the breeding function after it. It will be followed by the most exciting part of this project, the battle of the cute Pandas. (*But this feature is not determined yet, whether it will be developed or not, as the current main feature is hunting and fighting against the monsters to collect rewards.*)

The maximum supply of Panda NFT that is available for minting is 3000, and each Panda NFT has distinct characteristics. The minting fee costs 0.1 BCH per panda, excluding the very low gas fee. And at the time of writing, 1784 out of 3000 Panda NFTs have already been minted. There would be no more subsequent Panda NFT to be produced, and additional numbers of Panda NFT would come from breeding and producing baby Pandas. Each Panda carries unique attributes with different levels of force that correspond to the number of talents. And each Panda obtains one of the Five Elements: **Metal** **Wood** **Water** **Fire** **Earth** The higher the force and talents, the more advantageous it is to win the battle and to accumulate more rewards. The minting fee is pretty pricey compared to other NFTs on SmartBCH. But PandaLand is different from them as it is an NFT Game and not just for trading. If this project succeeds, then it would be worth minting. Hunt

`This function would be postponed until February due to lack of development cycle.` Your team of Pandas would go to the jungle and would battle against monsters in order to collect the project's native token called **PDA token** or gold token, as well as potions, equipment, and others. In order to join the hunting, one must own at least **3 Panda NFTs**. The win rate is determined by the force value, the higher the force value the higher the win rate. Each game offers the same PDA, and a higher win rate means a better chance of getting a PDA. Breed

The breeding function will be launched by next month based on the Roadmap. The Pandas come in both sexes, Male and Female, and are capable to breed or produce baby Pandas. The baby Pandas will inherit the characteristics of their parent Panda and would help you generate more rewards. The more you breed, the bigger your team, the more chances to accumulate more rewards. It sounds like money here. Market This function is not available yet. From the word itself, a market is a place where you could trade your Pandas, buying and selling them. The maximum supply of Panda NFT is only 3000 and more Panda NFT will be produced through breeding baby Panda. The Market function will also be available for buying PDA tokens, equipment, potions, and other functions. Since there isn't complete information yet and an official whitepaper about this project, the information about battle and hunting isn't clear as well. Based on the Roadmap, I presumed that they are different. Hunting would probably function for collecting PDA tokens, potions and equipment that could be used for the real battle, through fighting with the monsters And the real battle would be Panda vs Panda. To confirm this, I personally messaged one of the members of the group who replied to my messages on the group. He's not part of the dev team but has contact with them. From: **Buruce Li** (@peiject) *Panda NFT is an original GameFi game and needs to attract more experienced developers to join together to develop it. So the 300BCH obtained from 3000 pandas is used as staff funding to attract developers. This leaves no extra funds for providing liquidity, so providing liquidity by crowdfunding BCH seems to be the best of both worlds.* *Similar to SmartBCH DEX, others can provide LPs for PDA tokens to gain revenue, and since this is not a core feature, this part of the functionality may not come that soon.* *The total supply is a maximum of 3,000 pandas, and no other pandas should be cast subsequently. Only pandas breed with each other and produce baby pandas. Red pandas need to go through a lot of evolution before they can have reproductive functions again.* ***The current plan of the project is:*** *Panda goes out and fights with other monsters to get equipment and potions.
