yes but just 2 or 3 hours because my funds were too small and I can't afford to boost it for 24 hours or long but it really helped me getting few likes and comments. I think the longer the better. I did that on my first or 2nd week maybe.

That's sad. Sometimes i can see articles of new users on the homepage. That means the articles attracts many viewers. You just really need to make a quality article. Boosted articles aren't only the ones that will appear on the homepage, but also those with many views, comments and likes
