Have you ever had a piggy bank? Filipino children, especially children in the 90's, must have experienced it. Until now, many are still struggling. There is a coin bank, wood, cardboard, bamboo and everywhere else it is made. Why do we love it? In times when banks, passbooks and ATMs were not yet in vogue, this was our way of saving. When we have things we want to buy and we do not have enough money to buy, we automatically think of saving in a piggy bank. In the beginning it was just coins until we were able to drop the banknotes. Sometimes there is a chance that we can open it even before it is time for emergency. Piggy bank inside the closet. We usually keep our piggy bank in the closet. But if you notice, it also often disappears when we hide it here. The dark inside of the closet is also said to be a refuge for playful spirits. They are the spirits who take our belongings and put them somewhere else. There are times when you remember that you just put your powder on top of a dresser but in a flash it is no longer there and you can just find it inside your closet.
