Have you ever had a piggy bank? Filipino children, especially children in the 90's, must have experienced it. Until now, many are still struggling. There is a coin bank, wood, cardboard, bamboo and everywhere else it is made. Why do we love it? In times when banks, passbooks and ATMs were not yet in vogue, this was our way of saving. When we have things we want to buy and we do not have enough money to buy, we automatically think of saving in a piggy bank. In the beginning it was just coins until we were able to drop the banknotes. Sometimes there is a chance that we can open it even before it is time for emergency. And then we start again with our new alkanysa. But did you know that aging here is also associated with superstitions? Here are some guidelines on where you should keep your piggy bank.
Piggy bank inside the closet. We usually keep our piggy bank in the closet. But if you notice, it also often disappears when we hide it here. The dark inside of the closet is also said to be a refuge for playful spirits. They are the spirits who take our belongings and put them somewhere else. There are times when you remember that you just put your powder on top of a dresser but in a flash it is no longer there and you can just find it inside your closet. This is because the playful spirit has taken it. The same thing is done in our piggy bank, even if he does not take it in full, the coin is gradually depleted and scattered all over the house.
Piggy bank under the bed. Sometimes we put our piggy bank in the hidden part of the bottom of the pallet or bed in the hope that no one will see it. No one can see. But the home of the piggy bank under the bed is your illness or that of your relative. Your savings will go to the purchase of medicine.
Kitchen piggy bank. If you plan to keep your piggy bank in a hidden kitchen cabinet, its contents will end up costing as much as preparing for a celebration.
Living room piggy bank. If you keep your piggy bank in a drawer in the living room or under a heavy sofa, or behind your divider, your savings will go to a charity or help the needy. Only a friend or acquaintance can ask you for financial help and you will not be denied.
These are just superstitions associated with our aging piggy bank. It can be believed and it can not be. If we really want to accumulate and use it in our intended use, we must put it in the safest place we can think of. Feng Shui says that it is best placed on the west or northwest side of your room or office because this part is ruled by a metal element that is said to boost your luck.
