Shaykh Mizanur Rahman Azhari (born 26 January 1990; Bengali: মিজানুর রহমান আজহারী) is a Bangladeshi speaker, scholar and preacher of Islam.[3][4][5][6][7][8] He has contributed to Islam and Comparative Religion studies.

Azhari was born on 26 January 1990 in Demra, Dhaka, Bangladesh. His father is a Madrasah teacher and his mother is a housewife. He has a brother. His father's original home district was Cumilla.[14][15]

Azhari passed Dakhil Examination in 2004 with the GPA-5 and also Alim Examination in 2006 with the GPA-5 both in the institution of Darunnajat Siddiqia Kamil Madrasah and gained top place results in Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board.[16][17]

In 2007, He took 1st place among thousands of students in the Egyptian Government Scholarship Examination which was organized by Islamic Foundation, then he went to Egypt for the undergraduate with the subject Department of Tafsir and Quranic Science at Al-Azhar University in Egypt.[18][19] He successfully completed his graduation with 80% marks.[20] He also completed post-graduation, MPhil, IELT and Ph.D. at the International Islamic University of Malaysia.[21][22]

Azhari started his career with Islamic singer and Qirat artist in 2010. Then he joined ATN BANGLA Islamic show where refereed and introduced by Tariq Munawar. In early 2015, he started his Waz Mahfil career.

On 25 January 2020, he announced to postpone all the Wazz Mahfil and other scheduling programs till March this year due to research in Malaysia.[23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30] He wrote his facebook official page,

“This year's Tafsir program is being put on hold for some reason around the world. So, until March, the rest of my programs were postponed. I am going back to Malaysia again for research work. If Allah Almighty gives the opportunity, will see you again and talk to Insha Allah.”

There was no specific answer to the question as to why the sudden move to Malaysia and he did not mention what those reasons were
