Hiran Minar.
hiran minar (urdu:ہرن منار ;"The dear Tower")is an early 16 century mughal era complex. located in Sheikhupura, Punjab province of Pakistan.

Description.
The complex was built at the site of a game reserve in honour of mughal emperor Jahangir's beloved ant elope "mansraj". The emperor is remembered for his fondness of nature and his complex embodies to the mughal relationships between humans, pets and hunting.
Start of construction.
The construction of this monument was started in 1606 C.E.
Completion.
This monument was completed in 1620 C.E.
Location.
The hiran minar is located in city of sheikhupura about 40 kilometers northwest of Lahore. The complex is located near ,the sheikhupura fort which is also dates from early 17th century. Both sites are accessible from lahore via the M2 motorway which connects lahore from Islamabad.
History.
Hiran minar was built during the Region of the mughal emperor jahangir in a hunting reserve by the mughal royals. The reserve was built in the scrub forest and allowed mughal emperor to experience the sense of semi - wilderness near the imperial city of lahore. The wild reserve was used as a park where visitors could enjoy the sport of hunting .
The minarat was built in 1606 c.e as the monument of emperor Jahangir's beloved pet ant elope mansraj or "lord of all animals beings",. The practice of building such a tomb makers over the skull of game animals in an ancient Persian custom.The minaret and tank were soon accompanied by a larger pavillion built during the region of Shah Jahan .
layout.
The complex consists of a jahangir era minarat situated next to a large Shah Jahab's Era complex.
Minarat.
The Jahangir's era minarat stands
110 meters tall and was built in 1606 c.e as a tomb marker for the empire's pet ant elope.
Pool.
A massive rectangular water tank pool measuring 226 meters / 273 meters lies at heart of the complex, At the center of each side of the tank,brick ramp slopes down to the water providing access of wild game that were sought by hunters.
Pavillion.
An octangular pavillion built during the region of Shah Jahan is at the centre of the pool. The pavillion is two storied and is topped by a rooftop chattri (چھتری) as a stane gazebo. the pavillion architecture is similar to "sher mandel" at "purana Qila " Dehli built by emperor humayun.
The pavillion is not only surrounded by the water tank but also semi wilderness. The pavillion was thus likely used for recreational purposes.
Cause ways.
The causing spen the pool to connects the minarat with the pavillion along an axis which passes Through a gateway.
Hydraulics.
unique features of this particular complex are the ant elope's grave and the distinctive water collection system. At each corner of the tank is a small square building and a surface water collection system which supplies the water to the tank. only one of these water systems is only extensively exposed today.
