Bread clips: you won’t throw them away ever again once you know what you can do with them!

Who knew bread clips are actually useful?

Most people just throw away bread clips as soon as the bread is gone (or even before that!). We get that, because why would you want to keep around something that has such a specific use? Well, there’s actually good reason to keep these clips around. You can use them for a whole load of useful things! They have the ability to make your life a lot easier and isn’t that what all of us want?

We’ll never throw away a bread clip ever again!

We’ve got four amazing lifehacks you can use bread clips for and we’ll explain them on the next couple of pages so keep reading if you want your life to become just that little bit easier!

1. Tape marker

Everybody will be familiar with this: you quickly need to use some tape but you can’t find the end of it on the roll! It’s always when you most need it that these things happen. Of course, after fidgeting for a while you find the end of the tape, but this takes time and (most of all) frustration. Luckily, a bread clip will ensure this problem is a thing of the past! Next time when you’re done using a roll of tape, stick a bread clip to the end. That way, you’ll never lose the end again and you can quickly use the tape if you need.

2. Bookmark

Are you reading a book but haven’t you got a bookmark at hand? Not to worry! Instead of having to remember the page number, simply use a bread clip to quickly find your place in the book again. Slide the opening of the clip over the page and shut the book. The clip will stay stuck and not fall out and work as a perfect bookmark!

3. Untangling headphones

It seems like all you have to do is look away for a second and your headphones become tangled. Untangling them is a terribly annoying chore and it also takes way too long. The frustration! Luckily, there’s an easy solution and you’ll have guessed what it is: a bread clip! Untangle your headphones one last time and then roll them up. Place the bread clip around the rolled up headphones. They’ll never become tangled again!

4. Identifying power plugs

Sometimes restarting a device means you need to pull its plug out of the socket for a couple of seconds. If you’re like us and you use power strips all around your house, finding out which plug belongs to which device can be a bit difficult. There’s an easy way to work around this problem, though. All you need is a couple of bread clips and use them as labels. Write down the name (or an abbreviation of the name) of the device on the bread clip and then clip it to the power cord it belongs to. This can save you a lot of time!
