Some time ago noise was made about the plans of the famous rapper Akon, who decided to build a new city in his native Senegal, signed under the artist's pseudonym. In January 2020, the musician announced via social media that Akon City had finalized an agreement according to which the city would become a true cryptocurrency metropolis. According to the rapper, it is cryptocurrencies that have the opportunity to guarantee a better future for the people of Senegal and even for all of Africa.
