Noong bata pa ako mahilig na ako sa superhero cartoons pati na sa live-action. I'm a fan ng DC at first, but nagbago at naging Marvel (thanks to Iron Man). But we will talk about Captain America, not Iron Man dahil siya ay badass superhero (I mean may possibilities siya na maging totoo).

Captain America
Si Captain America ay gawa ni Joe Simon noong 1940, isang fictional from comics at ni-release one year after (panahon ng World War II). Naging super-soldier siya dahil sa serum na i-tinurok sa kanya. Ang serum na ito ay kayang palakihin ang payat at maliit na si Steve Rogers into a physical peak of human perfection known as Captain America. After US declared war on Japan and entered World War II, Captain America became so popular that helped boost morale of many US soldiers.
I think by this at sa dami ng mga dumaang giyera dati at sa improvements ng science at technology, 19th century, humans start the idea and interest sa paggawa ng mga super-soldiers. But did any of the warring nations actually attempt to create a real-life super-soldier serum?
The Nazi's Master Plan: Aryans
Hitler, one of the most and deeply interested in developing a permanent master race. What you mean by master race?
Based on the books and the natives from different country, super laki nila (about 11 to 15 feet) and their skin is white, tinatawag silang "light God people," or Aryans. They descended on Earth using “flying disks” 500 million years ago. Which means aliens but human-like at nakatira sa Alpha Tauri, in the Aldebaran system.
They had long ruled here at gumawa ng first capital city called "ULTIMA THULE" the first continent. This was called HYPERBOREA at mas luma pa kaysa sa Lemuria at Atlantis (continents with advanced cultures na lumubog dahil sa cataclysm).
Back to the article, Hitler is good in history, dahil nga sa hilig nadin nito sa libro at may library siya na naglalaman ng thousands of books hindi lang ng history (or lost history) kundi novels, mythology, etc. Dito niya nakuha ang idea of race and racial superiority which he automatically linked in to the notion of space, land, and conquest.
This notion of the Aryan race, a label or sense of entitlement, na kung saan sila lang at ang mga group of people na ito ang deserve na maghari sa mundo, And how would they prove that they deserve to rule? Through their success in defeating others.
The Experiment
Noong 1935, they set up the Lebensborn, or Spring of Life, as a sort of breeding/child-rearing program. Isa itong special breeding clinics na kung saan ang mga Super Soldiers could mate with suitable, selected women. Ang goal nila ay gumawa ng madami at tumatagal na Aryan race who would serve as the super-soldiers of the future.
What Do You Mean By Super Soldier?
They are the product of experimentation conducted and achieved through genetic modification by scientists. After the succession, they will have super human abilities like...
1. Smarter
2. Sharper (more focussed)
3. Physically stronger than their enemy counterparts
4. Capable of telepathy
5. Run faster than Olympic champions
6. Lift up record-breaking weights through
7. Re-grow limbs lost in combat
8. Possess a super-strong immune system (go for days and days without food or sleep).
In short an army of Captain America like. Sa emotional side naman, their empathy genes ay buburahin and will show no mercy, without the sense of fear.
The Serum 1: Pills
Hindi lang ito ang ginawa ng Nazi's para maisakatuparan ang dream nila to create super-soldiers. Ang isang average Nazi soldier din ay makakakuha ng regular intake of pills designed to “help them fight longer and without rest.” Meron tayong surviving records about dito, they call it Pervitin, which is gawa sa methamphetamine or as it is now called, crystal meth. Between 1939 and 1945, over two hundred million Pervitin pills ang nagamit ng mga Nazi soldiers from the war.
But hindi pa dito nagtatapos ang black agendas nila. Ang mga Nazi scientists ay hindi pa satisfied dito at noong 1944, they started a top-secret program na kayang bumaliktad ng laban from any wars they fought. They develop a drug named D-IX.
The Serum 2: D-IX
D-IX was a cocaine-based cocktail, consisting of five milligrams of cocaine, five milligrams of oxycodone (a morphine-related painkiller), and three milligrams of Pervitin. Una nilang tinry sa mga inmates ito sa Sachsenhausen concentration camp. After taking the drug, ang mga preso ay pwersadong pinagmarch in circles while buhat-buhat ang approximately 20kg na bitbitin. With the aid of D-IX, nakaya nilang maglakad at tumakbo ng mahigit eighty to one hundred kilometers bago sila mag-collapse.
Amazed by the results, ang mga Nazi scientists ay nagplano na na magsupply ng D-IX sa lahat ng German troops. But unfortunately, ang giyera ay natapos na before it could be produced in mass quantities.
Despite their best efforts, ang mga Nazi’s ay hindi masyadong nagtagumpay sa paggawa ng super-soldiers. But nowadays, ang mga researchers ay nagpapatuloy sa paggawa nito, hoping to achieve the same goal with different means. In 2008, DARPA announced a $3 billion dollar program to create a “metabolically dominant soldier.”
Someday or soon super-soldiers may not be all that super…they may, in fact, be commonplace. Even more disturbingly they program the brain of that soldier and allows them to control it like a ‘joystick’ from some far away control centre. Maybe Russian be the first? America or China? Who knows...
