Advertising as practiced for the most part these days has an "in your face " attitude .you are bombarded with flashing images and loud sounds and music ,all designed to get your attention to sell the product.almost none of this kind of Advertising is content rich. It is this noisy , intrusive content free nature of Advertising that makes it unwelcome on the internet. As viewed on the internet, advertising is instructive , where marketing can be active and discourse based ,and can provide valuable information and service as part of it's efforts to sell the product and service. Business must be send to be given something back to the net . Business for the most part have to make a paradigm shift from something highly instructive and image oriented to something highly content Oriented. The key to living comfortable with network neighbors is to observe the simple solicited information is good ,but unsolicited is not. In doing business on the internet , the unsolicited information you offer must be subtle and unobtrusive. Information that is requested either through email or because the individual accesses your business web site .
