The Last Day of August
August 31, 2022
Article No. 306
Another month is about to close. Already, 8 months in the year 2022 have passed. In the past 8 months this year, I have both been blessed with so much abundance and endured scarcity.
Greetings my dear readers and friends. How was your August? How did you fare in this lean month? Yeah, it's a lean month for me and perhaps for many of us as well. In fact, August is the leanest... or the "driest" month for me (as I said in my noisecash post earlier).
I had an amazing start this year. Blessings upon blessing poured out unto me since the start of the year. Especially in the months of April and May. However, since June, my income started to dwindle. Just as the prices of cryptocurrency dived and started another roller-coaster ride.
Cryptocurrency Prices
While the prices of cryptocurrency were crawling at the bottom, it could have been a great chance for us to earn more cryptocurrency. Especially for us, the content creators of read.cash and noise. cash. However, the benefactors of these amazing platforms were not pulling their resources out of their hats like magic. The funds have to come somewhere.
Unfortunately, the benefactors were not spared by the effects of the crash. They had to cut down their losses. Thus, it's understandable... and just logical, that Rusty's funds may have been reduced as well...
As a result, some members felt ignored by the bot.
In the past few months, I had been earning more than $100 a month. But since June, my earnings started to drop. This August is my lowest so far this year. I barely earned $20 worth of tips or 0.17+ BCH.
I have observed some of the people that I follow stopped writing, some still posted some articles but only occasionally. Perhaps they were discouraged or demotivated by the low earnings.
I too was affected. Aside from my busy schedule this month, I can hardly think of anything to write during my free time.
Keep On Writing!
However, I thought, if I wanted to reach my dreams... my goals in time, I have to keep on writing. I have to keep on creating content.
While my earnings here in read-cash and noise-cash were reduced, I had to find some ways to augment my earnings. Thus, I joined Hive.
For my first month in Hive, I earned at least 12 HBD. I'm still exploring the platform though. there are still a lot of things I need to understand about that platform.
I realized though that Hive too is potentially a great earning site for content creators like writers, photographers, artists and the likes. Both for amateurs and professionals.
If you want to try Hive, I would appreciate it if you use my referral link.
In Closing
I have to go back to my work now. Now that I have let this off my chest... and as I have shared in noise-cash,
"Never Give Up On Your Dreams!"
Moreover, never let anyone talk you out of your dream as Zig Ziglar says:
Have a great day and thanks for reading.
Thanks for that nice encouragement for us, me too have a very low earnings last month, and indeed we just keep on writing, explore.
